A Crazy Day

Well I managed to arrive in Lisbon, however I missed the connecting flight to Porto due to some reasons which may involve me having waited in the wrong line.. But, I have recovered my luggage, and to top that I ordered my first beer and cappuccino in Portugal (both of which were delicious). Salud! I will update with pics of my room at a Bed and Breakfast in Porto!

Airport Woes

Sitting at the US Airways gate, about ready to depart San Diego for my connecting flight in Philadelphia, I've brought a copy of Stephen King's The Stand for some inflight entertainment (if you haven't read King I'd highly suggest it).. It's going to be a long day of flying and watching The Walking Dead on the plane (hopefully they have wi-fi). Oh, and to sign off, this old couple sitting next to me keeps burping out loud and they don't even care.. I hope I'm that badass when I get older. Updates to come later today, hopefully I can have pictures up within 24 hours.. Until next time

Introductions

T-minus two days until I leave for almost two months for a personal trip and educational experience in the great land of Europe.  I have with me an Osprey Sojourn backpack/rolling bag, and a Jansport "Rastafarian" backpack which will carry my school supplies and laptop.  I am hesitant and slightly nervous to be going across the world, but at the same time I am very excited.  Pictures will be posted from the locations I will be staying in, which include Amsterdam, Paris, Venice, San Sebastian, Berlin, and other European cities.  Hopefully I do not get mugged or beaten, that would not be a fun part of the trip.  I hope to discover who I am and what I am made of during this little excursion, and hopefully I can come back a changed man.
