A Trip To Braga

Today following class we ventured to the city of Braga which is north of Porto; there were incredible sights to be seen as we visited the famous church there. Plus, we were able to visit the city center where I was able to partake in a pretty large sampling platter at a local restaurant with some of my classmates!

And from a further distance.. It was really incredible there were five sets of stairs leading up to the church, each with a fountain. They all represented the different senses (touch, hearing, taste, etc.) so as in order to purify one's self before reaching the top.

Here is a picture of one of the main streets going through the city center, plenty of shops and cafés to enjoy!
