Welcome To Berlin!

Hello everyone! It's been my first official full day here in Berlin, and I must say this is a very cool city! I've only seen a fraction of the sights to be seen, and I have only sampled a small amount of the available food here. But, the pictures I have so far are still pretty nifty in my opinion, so I hope you like them!

Roaming the streets of Berlin..

Deutsche Bank and Mercedes Benz in one picture, can't get any more German than that!

Eventually made my way to a cool little waterway going through the city!

And then I found the Bellevue Palace! I asked one of the guards here and he said this is where the President has formal meetings and such.. Big business!

I kept walking a bit more, and then stumbled upon the famous Siegessäule! (Otherwise known as the Berlin Victory Column)

Yes, you CAN go to the top!

Many steps later..

It was so cool to see the whole city from the top, I wish I could have taken a panoramic photo but the column had a steel cage at the top so I had to poke my phone out between the open gaps!

And to finish, tonight I had a very nice coffee by candlelight at a very cool little restaurant! So quaint!
